If you look at the letters behind the head and then the runes in front of the head on the Obverse of your coin you will be able to identify the Obverse Type number by using Chart 2 below. Then use Chart 3 to help with identifying Letters and Symbols around the Standard on the Reverse and note the Reverse Type number.
Scroll further down and look at Chart 5 to identify the Type number. eg. Obv 8 + Rev 1 = Type 12. You can then confirm this by looking at the "Type 12 to Type 16" or "Type 17 to Type 22" page.
